I had three appointments for my foot. Story: I'm am athlete trying to lose weight, so I've been doing running. In excess. My foot started hurting really bad (sore and achy in a particular spot), so, after two weeks, I decided to check out the doctors. My experience: Excellent I was interested in acupuncture but never had it, so now was a time for a change. I called Doc Albina Tong's office to ask about pricing, and she answered. She was very nice and polite, so we made an appointment. First appointment: I came in and was seen immediately. It was a little busy, so I had to wait a little (which was fine because I had some papers to fill out), but once she was in the room with me she gave me her full attention and checked over my general health. We worked it out that I need acupuncture and how much it would cost. We made two additional appointments and she gave me acupuncture. She also gave me her card and told me to call or text if there were any changes. She gave me acupuncture on my legs and it didn't hurt, and after words, went over my foot with a machine thing. I felt a little better. The next day I felt I could walk with a LOT less pain. Second Appointment: Again, I came in and she saw me immeadiately. She checked how I was feeling and gave me more acupuncture. The next day I didn't have pain at all. I had to walk around quite a bit, so it wore off by the time I got to the day of my last appointment (about 2-3 days), and the pain was incredibly less. Third Appointment: I came in and was seen immediately. When went through the same procedures and my foot hurt so much less she noted that, as long as I'm not so excessive, I should recover and be back at optimal. Overall: She gave great advice, the acupuncture wasn't scary and didn't hurt (it helped that we were talking while she was poking me, but I really don't like needles, so that says something), the office was clean, friendly. I will definitely go back if I need it and would recommend her to friends and family.

I'm relatively young but have had gout recurrences for many years. It's frustrated me that my doctors typically prescribe medicine but never try to figure out why I'm getting gout in the first place. I recently had a number of acupuncture sessions with Albina and was really impressed with her approach - she didn't just focus on putting needles in my foot (what I figured would be the Eastern counterpart to treating my symptom). Instead, we discussed my diet, medical background and a number of other factors that could possibly paint the picture of why gout is occurring. When it came time for the acupuncture, the needles were painless. All in all my sessions with Albina have been relaxing, eye-opening and helpful!

Went to get acupuncture treatment for my neck problem and headaches . Albina helped my a lot..no more pain!!! I would recommend her to anybody.
