I don't post reviews, but I was so impressed with the haircut I recently received that I just had to share my experience. My search for an excellent hairstylist is over! After visiting three different salons in the last year, I'm thrilled to have found Maria at Cherrie's Salon. She did an amazing job cutting and styling my wavy thick hair. I showed Maria a photo of the style I wanted. She is the first hairstylist in my lifetime that has ever matched my haircut to the photo. She listened and understood my desire for a low maintenance scrunch and go style. So, after she shampooed and cut my hair and before she dried and styled, she showed me how to scrunch style my hair. Maria has been cutting hair for 20 years and her skills show it. She did a fantastic job on my hair and at a reasonable price! Over the years, I've been to salons that specialize in cutting wavy/curly hair and paid the over inflated prices. The cut and style that Maria gave me was so much better than any I ever received at those specialized salons. Maria is my new go to stylist. I'm so happy to have found her!

When I came to Northern Nevada, one of the things I was most dreading was finding a new salon. I have fine, straight hair and had been coloring with a henna blend product for years, and I had let it grow quite long. It was time to let the silver show and go back to a more flattering short style, but who could I trust to not only get my hair to a natural color and give me the short style I wanted, but also be on time and give me the attention I was paying for?
I tried a couple of stylists before I met Cherrie, who turned out to be a perfect fit for me. She told me about my options to fade the color and let the silver show. I was totally happy with the option I chose and with the first treatment, I was on my way to growing out the old color in a fresh and flattering way. It took a couple of cuts to get the length and style to where I wanted it and within just a few months, I had a low maintenance hairstyle that was complimentary to me and took only the time to blow dry it to enjoy a light, carefree style.  Cherrie's shop is clean and bright, as well as a bit quirky. It is a full service salon for women and men, with reasonable hours and prices. I find Cherrie and the staff to be friendly and helpful.  I have been happy with Cherrie for a couple of years now and would not hesitate to refer any of my friends to her salon.

Went to Cherrie's for the first time today. I've always struggled finding a place to get my haircut that I end up happy. It is always a terrible cut, or a good cut but outrageously expensive.

Cherrie's was a breath of fresh air in that I felt Cherrie provided me with a very high quality haircut, paid very close attention to detail, and it was very reasonably priced! I will definitely be going back.
