Brought my daughter in for box braids. Two days prior, I contacted Darlene about an appointment, knowing it could be a long shot to get in, but she was able to accommodate. So we texted and then spoke on the phone, so that she could get details on what we were looking for and set expectations. It was very helpful to us, and also confirmed to me that this was a professional place that knew what they were doing! When we arrived, Miss Shanika was ready and waiting! She turned the TV channel to a kid-friendly Station (and later put on Moana). She clarified what we wanted, gave some ideas, and got started. Comfortable, friendly shop...we will definitely return!
