I've seen a couple different folks here, both great. Bill once, and Melissa a bunch of times. Melissa I think is the only color Purefessional in the San Diego area. That means not only does she work in a salon, but she also travels the U.S. teaching various color techniques, and keeps up to date on the many new color trends. Going to see her would ensure you'd always have the latest and greatest, not to mention, the great stress relieving treatment, and separately her OUT OF THIS WORLD head massage she gives when shampooing/conditioning your hair. Even with Melissa's wildly busy schedule, she always manages to have availability, as do all the other stylists. I never wait more than a week to get in for an appointment. Also, ALL the staff working at Adora are great. This is by far the friendliest and most professional salon in all of North County. How I love Adora, let me count the ways... ;).

5 stars because since my first visit, I've always had a positive experience and the people are friendly. I have very curly hair and the fact that I can be taken care of at this salon makes me smile. I don't get burned and when I got my hair relaxed the chemical was applied and removed properly. This place also helped me get rid of the stereotype that "only black salons could handle my hair" It's not even about race. This salon is the best in San Diego county!

Jacqueline has been doing my hair for a few years now and she knows how to make me look my best. Even when it's been a while since I've been in, she remembers me and the details about me and even recalls where we are in my hair journey (I know that sounds funny). The salon is always spotless, the reception folks are always really friendly and quick to bring a drink and make me feel comfortable. The added extras, like the little massage before the appointment, makes me always want to come back. I know Jacqueline loves her job and loves working there and that makes it even better to know that she feels well-treated as an employee.
