I love Art. He is a one-man show in a soothing atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood. The atmosphere is peaceful and the on-on-one attention is wonderful. This isn't a usual salon experience! As a middle-school teacher, house maker, mother of two and wife, I look forward to a getaway at Art's. A cup of excellent coffee, chocolate, scalp massage and light music are just a few of the wonders you will encounter. Art is also a great conversationalist and hilarious. The stress melts away, and I leave glowing. My hair is healthy, shiny and beautiful and my psyche is rejuvenated. I highly recommend the entire experience.

Art is an artist with hair. He has been my hair stylist for over 15 years and is truly a life saver when I needed him the most to fix my hair. I don't have a lot of time or a ton of money to spend on haircuts and color but I get everything I need from him. Because he is the owner, he can be flexible and fit to my schedule. Because my work has me in the sun and water all the time, and he has helped to restore my hair and given me tips to keep it beautiful. It's no wonder that several of my friends go to him because they see how great my hair is.

I have been to many a hairstylist in my day. Finding Art Michel was a true gift in my life. His calm and classy salon allowed him to give me his undivided attention. He truly listened and heard what I wanted, and then he created it. The color and highlights are just beautiful, elegant and understated. He put the photo of what I wanted on his computer screen, and then he proceeded to create the look I had dreamed of. Reasonably priced, and easy free parking, I am happy to recommend Art. He is delightful to talk with, and the pampering made the experience complete.
